#SELENA FIRE EMBLEM FATES UPDATE#
A summer variation of Selena was first made available to be summoned by players on Jas part of the summoning event surrounding the launch of the Summer Passing update the addition of this variation of Selena marked the first time a character who shares their English name with another fully-distinct character (discounting different variations of series mascot Anna) already on the Heroes roster became a part of Heroes. The normal variation of Selena is one of the characters added to the game in the Book V launch update, and became available for summoning by players on December 8, 2020. There are two different variations of Selena available to Heroes, both based on her storyline appearance in The Sacred Stones. Like all female bonus units in Awakening, Selena has access to all base class and advanced class skills available to standard female units. The figures to the left and right of the ~ are the stat's minimum and maximum possible values respectively. Starting stats and growth rates Stats with two figures separated by a ~ are presented as a range, representing stats that vary due to random growths. In this appearance, and like all other Creature Campaign characters, she has no dialogue or support conversations with other characters. In the Creature Campaign Selena can be recruited as a bonus unit.

She refuses to back down despite realizing her emperor is probably not the man she swore to serve and is killed by Ephraim's forces. While she does not return Myrrh's Dragonstone, Selena does allow her to go back to Ephraim before the looming battle begins. Myrrh approaches her, intending to ask Selena to return her Dragonstone, and tells Selena about the darkness festering in Grado Keep. Selena appears again later in Ephraim's route, she is the boss of chapter 13. However, Valter diverts her attentions by giving her a message from Vigarde, the emperor wants her back at Grado Keep, as she has been deemed untrustworthy. In Ephraim's route Selena appears, chasing down a fellow member of the Imperial Three, Duessel, on orders from Vigarde. If Eirika's route is chosen later on in the game, these are Selena's only in-person appearances in the game. After the successful mission the two retreat to Grado. Selena appears again after Chapter 8: It's a Trap! at the Tower of Valni with Caellach, they wipe out the majority of the Frelian guard and destroy Frelia's Sacred Stone. If Eirika happens to visit the village, Selena does not recognize her, and pays her with a red gem to chase off the bandits after Eirika claims to be a mercenary for hire. Her first appearance is in Chapter 2: The Protected, she is in Ide warning the villagers to lock their doors due to bandit activity. Selena, being a loyal general of Grado, is an enemy of Ephraim and Eirika.
